Though its origins was in Corktown, Carhartt returned to its roots only recently. Its flagship store on Cass Avenue was once an auto dealership. Built in 1928 with an art deco architecture, this three story boutique is done up with salvaged materials from abandoned buildings in the city. The attractive side mural is an ode to the company's legacy. Renowned for their rugged fashion for work and the outdoors, this is a great stop to shop for jeans, coveralls, footwear, hoodies, outerwear and accessories.
