Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena situated on the campus of the University of Maryland is a multipurpose arena that plays host to the basketball and volleyball matches of the UMBC Retrievers men's and women's team. This arena was built in 2018 providing better training and match facilities to the athletes of the University of Maryland. Fans of sports in the neighborhood fill the seats of this arena during matchdays to show their support to the local team. You can buy a can of beer or glass of wine to sip while cheering for your favorite team. Apart from the sports events, this arena also plays host to a wide range of concerts on a regular basis.
