Stoke Park Road, Opposite Churchill Hall of Residence, The Holmes, Stoke Bishop, Bristol, BS9 1JG
Located in the select suburb of Leigh Woods, this well-established collection of exotic plants offers plenty to interest nature-lovers of all ages. There are upwards of 4500 species crammed into this late Victorian garden, with glass houses protecting the more delicate specimens, such as orchids, succulents and everyone's favorite, Venus Fly Trap! There is also a kitchen garden and a rock garden. Disabled access is rather limited, as some of the paths are very narrow. The gardens are within a few minutes walk of the western end of the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
