Formerly a monastery, Musée de la Chartreuse situated in the heart of Molsheim now houses Museum of Archeology, Art and History, as well as, The Bugatti Foundation with an impressive collection of vintage cars made by the reputed automobile giants. You can learn about the local history of Molsheim and how the city has prospered throughout the years by exploring the exhibits at Musée de la Chartreuse. The rustic building that these museums are housed in was classified as Historical Monument in 1998.
