Home to Marshal University’s men’s and women’s soccer teams, the Hoops Family Field at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex is an outdoor soccer stadium. As the name suggests, there is an intertwining history between the stadium and the decades-old Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse. The soccer stadium is built on the location earlier occupied by the Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse. The structural elements of this stadium are not only heavily inspired by that of the former stadium, but also include fitting tributes to the local veterans and players. In addition to the thousands of seats and aluminium bleacher backs, the stadium also comprises a press box. Considered as a crucial component of the Herd soccer program, this stadium is special in many ways.
