Located in the famous Golden Gate Park, the namesake nursery was founded in 1870. Home to over 800 plant species, the nursery plays an important role in the maintenance of not only the park but plantations across the city. While public access is restricted here, the nursery plants can be directly bought on the third Saturday of every month.
