Structures like the St. Maria St. Vicelin Church built in Art-Noveau style, the Scharkirke with its unusual design, the ivory-hued Water Tower, the Town Hall built in the early 20th century and more reflect the town's past. On the other hand, the massive and luxurious Holsten Gallery Neumünster, a hotspot for fashion boutiques and Tuch and Technik Textilmuseum are examples of Neumünster's modern attractions. The Dosenmoor at the edge of town is always a great place to reconnect with nature, and Neumünster Zoo is ideal for a family day out.
