Heidenheim an der Brenz location near the Swabian Alps affords it the natural beauty of hilly terrain, along with some woods. The Hellenstein Castle, which is on a hill, watches over the city, and also houses the Carriage, Chaises and Carts Museum. Within the main town, Evangelical Michaelskirche, Peterskirche (cemetery church), Villa Waldemaier and a host of other churches and institutions form the major attractions. Walking through the cobbled streets with the lush green countryside and rolling hills in the distance is truly a sight to behold.
