Hamm is a typical, charming German town with one very interesting exception, the Kamakshi Ambal Temple. This Hindu temple, built in the Kanchipuram style, reflects temples in South India and is a great example of cultural solidarity between the two countries. Of course, Hamm has a lot more to offer in the form of Maxi Erlebnistherme Bad Hamm, a wellness resort, Glaselefant, a former coal washing plant, and a lot more. Thanks to these plethora of attractions, Hamm has the tendency to surprise visitors.
