Located a few kilometers apart from one another, the independent communities of Titisee and Neustadt were combined, along with four other communities, to form the cohesive municipality of Titisee-Neustadt. The Hochfirst, towering at 1,192 meters (3910.7 feet) forms the highest point in the town. The municipality of Titisee-Neustadt offers several outdoor experiences and activities that unfold along the namesake Titisee lake, the famous spa center of Badeparadies Schwarzwald and the High Black Forest.
