TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The UNESCO-listed Lorsch Abbey attracts the most visitors to this small village, but historic Lorsch has plenty of charm on its own. Even though partially in ruins, the 8th-century abbey's reputation is well-deserved, thanks to the stunning Königshalle and Altenmünster. The historic old town, with its numerous half-timbered houses is a treat to explore. The 18th-century Town Hall is as magnificent as it is imposing.
