The town of Moritzburg is renowned for and takes its name from the ethereal Schloss Moritzburg, although it was historically believed to be known as Eisenburg. Besides the magnificent castle on the waters, the historic town has numerous other pursuits like the verdant game reserve Wildgehege Moritzburg and the historic State Stud where you can admire majestic stallions. The home of the late artist Käthe Kollwitz is another place worth exploring.
