Kufstein

Kufstein is a town with a long history, and as such, has many historical and stunning sights to offer. The most important of all is the Kufstein Fortress, massive ivory-hued bastion situated on a small hill, watching over the city. The Alstadt or old town is equally enchanting, with rustic houses and cobble stone streets, the most of the lot being the Römerhofgasse. Saint Vitus Church's baroque facade along with the remains of the city wall from the medieval times are other attractions worth exploring. Situated along the Inn river, the town is also surrounded by rolling hills and an overall verdant topography, adding further beauty to this historic town.
