Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge is a wildlife refuge located on the southern coast of Maine. Named after the environmentalist Rachel Carson, the refuge comprises several pockets of protected land, including beaches, estuaries, and marshes. Home to a number of game birds like snipe, duck, geese, and woodcock, the area offers excellent opportunities for hunting.
