Spread across an area of 26 acres (10.5 hectares), St. Petersburg Pier offers stunning views of the picturesque Tampa Bay. It features a five-storey structure that was designed by William B. Harvard Sr., the architect. This waterfront district is equipped with multiple restaurants, an education center and a playground. It also features several artworks that were made by artists like Nathan Mabry, Xenobia Bailey and Nick Ervinck. Events like workshops, classes and gatherings are often held here. Television series like seaQuest DSV was filmed here in the 1990s.
