An excellent facility with the best indoor equestrian arena in the Southern Hemisphere. Built in the 1980s, the quality of the center reflects the financial confidence of the time. As well as the indoor arena, there are outdoor facilities; an international standard dressage course, polo fields, a cross-country course and show jumping areas. State Equestrian Centre has conference facilities that cater to functions, trade fairs and a variety of exhibitions. Holds equestrian events most weekends throughout the year. From April until September you can catch an indoor rodeo once a month.
