Opened in 1967, The Public Theater has hosted many notable shows. Dedicated to nurture and grow artists and audiences alike, this theater is an amazing one. Inside, there are five different theater venues and Joe's Pub, a cabaret styled bar which hosts many live performances. The theater has won many awards and Pulitzer prizes. A landmark building, this place went under renovation in 2009 and reopened three years later. Currently the theater hosts Shakespeare plays and takes initiative for the development of artists and other plays.
