Parc André Citroën

Like many other green Parisian parks, the Parc André Citroën is quite formal in its design: terraces, lawns and symmetrically arranged flower beds. It is dedicated to the famous car inventor, Citroën, whose first factory was situated near the banks of River Seine. Many landscape designers collaborated to create this beautiful riverside garden, replete with hothouses and rare plant varieties. It is divided into green, orange, blue, red, golden, silver, black and white gardens. Each is associated with a particular metal, a planet, a human sense and a natural phenomenon. Its major attraction is the Ballon Generali, a helium balloon that provides aerial tours for children and adults alike. There are also toboggans, ping pong and other games for kids. Besides, this park is worth a visit to see cascades, luxurious plants, towers and lilies. The hours of operation vary with the season.
