The National Museum of Toys / Miniatures

The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures is a must-see for children and the young at heart. Located near the Country Club Plaza on the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus, this museum features a collection of antique toys, built-to-scale miniatures, antique dolls, doll houses, farm toys and teaching kitchens. You will also learn different ways the toys are built. They recently added a new room to feature the world's most complete marble collection. The museum was founded in 1982 by two women who wanted to share their toy collections with the general public. Everyone can enjoy the wide range of toys here. A visit to the museum will surely be a fascinating one!
