Sendesaal des Hessischen Rundfunks is home to the Radio Symphony Orchestra. The German Jazz Festival also has its origins here. The chamber music studio lies directly next to the radio and TV studio, which claims to be the best in Germany. An on-line program is available. Prices vary according to the popularity of individual events. The summer break lasts from July to August, with the new concert program beginning in September. Cabaret programs can be obtained in the old foyer of the Hessish radio station in Bertramstrasse or over the Internet.
