Flanked by various specialty shops and top class restaurants that boast of aromatic cuisines, this street is the haven of all activity. Every year, in the month of June, the street comes to life when the annual Haight-Ashbury Street Fair takes place here. Specialty food is sold at the various vendor booths that stand tall during the one day long festival. Music enthusiasts come here to enjoy live bands.
