Backstage Club offers new, 'undiscovered' bands the opportunity to perform in front of a decent-sized audience. There are also regular club nights in the main hall and the club as well as a beer garden with a dance floor and garden house. Backstage has been a haven for the independent music scene for the last decade and does not place much emphasis on formalities. Sharing the same building with Backstage Werk, the crowd frequenting Backstage is young and trendy and features a number of gigs by upcoming bands and artists the year round.
