This attractive country hotel is set in its own beautiful park in the Hertfordshire countryside. The Lodge's history is known as far back as the 15th Century, and among its most famous occupants have been Henry Coventry, King Charles Secretary of State, and the Duke of Chandos during the 18th Century. The Lodge was rebuilt as a private residence and then later it was opened as a hotel. Its gardens include an arboretum.
