Barockgarten Großsedlitz is a spectacular 18-acre (7.28-hectare) garden which reflects French horticultural designs. This beautifully laid out garden dates back to the early 18th-century and was initially developed as an orangerie. This baroque garden was acquired by the state in 1992 and since then has been open to the public. The many stone sculptures and the beautiful water fountains adorning the garden are awe-inspiring. Several cultural events and performances are held at the garden attracting a decent crowd from across the city. The popular Polnischen Weißen Adlerordens also takes place at the garden every year.
