Famous for its Brigadoon festival each April, this special village is the gateway to Morton National Park. Bundanoon was a favorite destination for honeymooners in the 1940s, and today it offers a range of excellent restaurants and cafes, craft shops and galleries, plus accommodation from youth hostels and bed and breakfast to a Buddhist Monastery. Heritage houses, bush-clad gullies filled with wildlife, and monthly markets are just some of the attractions. Resembling darting, brilliant lights against the night, the glow-worms glow all the brighter the hungrier they are.
