Iffley Village isn't an area that most visitors get around to seeing. It has retained its old-fashioned village atmosphere, and is a pretty, tranquil place to stay. The Hawkwell is surrounded by trees and lawns, and while it's certainly geared up for business conferences and weddings, this is highly recommended accommodation, whatever your reason for visiting Oxford. The conservatory, built around a patio garden and fountain, is where most guests go to relax at the end of the day.
