It is believed that 1948 was the year that saw the beginning of road racing in Watkins Glen. The Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York has always been famous for the Formula One Grand Prix races that were held in the city. The circuit has undergone several transformations over the years to adapt to different races. It is till date considered the holy place for all racing fans.
