This bridge, completed in 1906, crosses the Thames River and allows for foot and vehicle traffic. But the most interesting feature of the bridge is the series of bronze sculptures that honor the arts and the sciences that are featured along the sides. The splendid steel and granite deck arch adorns the London landscape, adding a vintage touch. Originally, another bridge called Regent Bridge stood in its place. Today, Vauxhall Bridge makes for a lovely tourist attraction where visitors can take a walk and admire the serenity of the Thames on a charming London evening.
