The Estadio Olímpico de Sevilla is a 5-star venue for elite sports events. It also occasionally serves as a venue for amateur sports promotion. The stadium is equipped to cater to international sports events, and in the past has been venue to events such as the finals of the UEFA Cup 2003 Wolrd Championships, the Davis Cup Final 2004, and also several meetings of the National Selection of Soccer. This European stadium even allows sports fans the benefit of training sessions, friendly matches and high-end technical facilities. The stadium was also the venue to a Madonna concert which was part of her Sticky & Sweet Tour in 2008.
