Named after the father or the planner of Adelaide, the Light Square is a famous landmark of the city. One the five squares of Adelaide, it is also one of the most visited tourist destinations of the city. One corner of the square has the colonel's tomb, where a monument is erected to commemorate his contributions. The square is famous for hosting some of the best concerts and live performances and attracts huge crowds.
