Exeter Cathedral dates back to the 11th Century and is one of the oldest Anglican cathedrals in the world. Also known as the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter, this structure is reminiscent of the grand pieces of Gothic architecture that adorn England. Located amidst verdant greens in the heart of the city, this cathedral has a famous astronomical clock and one of the longest vaulted ceilings in England. The west front, decked with sculptures and intricate designs, is the moist attractive corner of the cathedral. The Cathedral also has an event-space that hosts various socio-cultural activities. Check website for additional information.
