Konzerthaus Dortmund is one of the most famous and beautifully designed concert halls in Dortmund. The Hall is rectangular in shape and the concert hall on the first floor is built in a manner to retain the sounds played for a longer time. Besides this the premise also has a restaurant and shops for the patrons. They also have a greenroom and wardrobe in the basement as well as a rehearsal room for the orchestra. There are three tiers of seating along with floor seating and the number of people that can be seated are around 1500. Besides concert many conferences, meetings and presentations take place here as well.
