Vooruit is a center offering some serious cultural entertainment to the people of Ghent. Designed by architect Ferdinand Dierkens, Vooruit was an iconic center for the city's labor movement and a meeting place for workers to savor a good meal and drinks. Formerly serving as an art and festival complex, the venue is dedicated to concerts, dance shows, theater plays, and cultural programs. From a cafe to ballrooms, Vooruit is equipped to satisfy any and everyone who enters its historic gates.
