Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC) is a hot spot for Japanese cultural activities. Operational since more than four decades, the center has expanded and grown through the years. Workshops on origami, Japanese cooking, ikebana, among others are a regular feature here. Japanese movies too are featured once a month. For members there are martial arts, sword fighting, dance classes and much more. One of the highlights here is the Canadian Nikkei Heritage Hall. Here you will find a lot of information and exhibits on Japanese history. The center has several spaces that can be hired. Two floors are available for hire. The Kobayashi Hall is one of the large venues spread across 6500 square feet. Other spaces include the Shokokai Court, Heritage Lounge, Hamasaki Room, Wynford Room and many others. It is ideal for banquets, conferences, exhibitions and other functions. Call the center for more information.
