Founded in 1980, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is one of the prominent craft breweries in the country. This Eco-friendly brewery runs on solar energy and farms its own organic hops. Some of the all time favorites from this brand are the Pale Ale, Torpedo and Porter. Throughout the year there are many events hosted here such as the Oktoberfest, Hop Harvest Festival and the Beer Camp. The public tour is for 12 years and above however the tasting room is only for those who are 21 years and over. One can also dine at their Taproom while tippling on the fabulous beers on tap that changes daily. Besides being an acclaimed brew house, the Big Room in its premises is a well known concert venue.
