John E Worthen Arena also formerly known as Ball State Arena was opened in 1922. It is a multipurpose stadium and home field of Ball State Cardinals. It hosts volleyball, basketball and other tournaments for its home team, and has both men and women's team on its court. The arena is also used for concerts, other cultural entertainment functions and for hosting important sporting events. It is equipped with press box, concession stands and arena lounge for patrons.
