Chesapeake Center for the Arts, a gem of an art school was gifted to the great city of Brooklyn Park in the year 2001 as part of the ambitious Brooklyn Park Community Complex aimed at providing access to visual and performing arts for the locals. Apart from providing art classes to the locals at reasonable prices, Chesapeake Center for the Arts also plays host to theaters and plays throughout the year which is attended by people of all ages. The in-house art gallery at this venue provides the local artists with a platform to display their works to art enthusiasts from across the city. Ceramics, dance, visual arts, theatre and music are few of the many classes provided here.
