The Artis--Naples Center is one of Southwest Florida’s premier visual and performance art centers, where it hosts hundreds of diverse events throughout the year. The sprawling campus is also home to the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and the popular Baker Museum. The primary mission of the cultural center is to enlighten, educate and entertain people of all ages through a presentation of Southwest Florida's very best artists. The center was built in 1989 by architect Eugene Aubry and the centerpiece of the campus is the 1,425-seat Hayes Hall, which features a 2,956-sq. ft. stage. Artis--Naples also includes the Daniels Pavilion "black-box" theater which is suitable for chamber music, cabaret and other cultural happenings.
