Located on Old Main Hill, the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum is a multipurpose arena that was established in 1968 and was first opened in December 1970. Designed by architects Folsom and Hunt, the arena can seat more than 10,000 people. It is the home arena of the men's basketball team, Utah State Aggies. The arena plays host to several events for women as well, such as gymnastics and volleyball. Many concerts and major functions in the neighborhood are hosted at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. The arena is named after the founder of Smith's Food and Drug.
