The town of Alsóörs boasts beautiful Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The famous Török-ház (Turkish House) was given its name for the turban-shaped chimney and was constructed in the 16th Century. One of the town's biggest draws is the lovely hillside amphitheater that overlooks the forest and outskirts of Alsóör. Also popular with tourists is the town's lake that has fine beaches and other outdoor activities during the summer months.
