Esquire Theatre

Dating back to 1911, the Esquire Theatre opened as a screening hall for silent films and live performances. During the 1950s, it was among the top art houses in the state. 1980s saw its closure and revival when the Clifton Theatre Corp. bought this historic cinema hall. It opened its doors again in 1990 and started showcasing indie movies and retro classics. It went through a restructuring in 1999 and now has six screens. Retaining its old look, you will feel you are in a vintage movie house. But it is one of the best places in town to catch first-run independent flicks and foreign cinemas.
