The State Theatre began its life as Warner Bros.' "finest theatre" in Central Pennsylvania, opened in October of 1938. It was one of the most popular movie houses in State College, showing the latest blockbusters from Hollywood. But, the movie theater was closed in 2001, and remained closed till its re-opening in 2006, after which it has become one of the most popular venues for a wide range of entertainment events. Spread over an impressive area of 13,940 square feet (1295 square meters), this theater presents concerts, live performances, film screenings and more. Call to know more.
