L'athanor was formerly a gymnasium which was converted into a theater hall and public meeting room in the second half of the 20th Century. The establishment of the original structure dates back to the year 1895. Today it is one of the spaces located in the Le Grand Théâtre des Cordeliers. You can visit the theater to catch up on some local performing arts shows that are held from time to time.
