Weimar is a city steeped in a rich history of literature and music, including but not limited to the incredible contributions of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller. There is also the Bauhaus Museum, which catalogs the artistic and architectural movement which had its foundations here. In spring, the fields bloom with beautiful flowers, and there are innumerable beautiful places for a picnic.
