As the name suggests, Dom Muzyki i Tańca (House of Music and Dance) is a concert hall which is used for various musical concerts and dance performances. It has a seating capacity of 2000 in an auditorium-like setup and possesses state of the art technology, which is essential for these performances. It was initiated in 1959 and has hosted operas, orchestra performances, cabarets and circus in the past. Famous bands like Smokie, Procol Harum and the German band Scorpions have performed in this gigantic hall. Beside, the house also has an artistic cafe which hosts meetings and small scale events.
