Römersteinbruch was once a stone quarry located in St. Margarethen that has now been converted into a venue for concerts and other events . The venue sees performances by many famous local as well as international artists throughout the year which includes artists like Norah Jones and Leonard Cohen. Römersteinbruch also hosts a variety of shows such as operas, plays, ballets, etc. including a performance of The Magic Flute by Mozart. Römersteinbruch also has an open air museum that has information about geography such as rock formations and is an interesting visit.
