Grand Théâtre

The Grand Théâtre in the city of Tours is an imposing municipal theater house which dates back to the 19th Century. In place of the theater, there had been another concert venue which was a converted church. The current building was constructed later and inaugurated in 1889. Today, with the capacity for seating almost 1000 guests, it is considered to be one of the heritage sites of the city and hosts a number of well-produced theater shows.
