Mariebergsskogen

Gifted by Dr. Conrad Hook, Mariebergsskogen is a site for all age groups. This city park features attractions like Naturum Värmland and an outdoor museum that can be explored during summers. The Lillskogen zoo is home to a variety of animals, including goats, monkeys, pigs, llamas, rabbits and sheep. There is small amusement park equipped with roller coasters and a Ferris wheel. The ancient 966-seater open-air theater is a major site of the park, and the venue which has hosted concerts by Jimi Hendrix, Quincy Jones and Ray Charles to name a few. The annual Putte i Parken från Karlskoga music festival allures music enthusiasts every year.
