Founded in 1979, the Jugendzentrum Komplex is a place for the youth of the Schüttorf community to congregate and celebrate the local culture. The center offers a number of entertainment facilities through the weekdays such as board games, computers with Internet connections and a tea room where one can simply hang out. Every weekend, the venue is host to exciting cultural events ranging from heavy metal concerts in their large hall to cabaret and theater in their tea room. Several courses, such as English lessons for women and cooking classes, are also held here on a regular basis.
