Spread across 2.83 hectares (7 acres), Herrenbreite dates back to the Middle Ages. Though it was used for different things, it became a park only in the 1960s. It features beautiful flowers, plants, themed zones, playgrounds, art objects, a fish pond, a miniature world clock and a lovely fountain. It hosts the annual Gildefest and, Park-und Lichterfest.
